I Want You for Feedback - Topics for On-line Classes

I love my job as a coach... It's not just a job, it's my vocation. It is my purpose to help you create the life you're dreaming of.

Just recently I posted the bellow post on my Facebook wall about what my friends and audience would most love to have help on and the replies were amazing.

I've been dreaming of putting together an on-line webinar to share what I know and I knew that asking an audience what their greatest desires are, would serve as brilliant topics for these on-line classes.

Based on the feedback I have gotten, I came up with these topics:

  1. Time Management:
How to leverage high priority actions and deal with the stuff that never gets done.
  2. Un-cluttering living space:
How to organise and make the space inviting and effective.
I have already developed a service for the above two, check out my package options called: The Mad Lifestyle Make-Over Session here. It also includes a pantry clear out.
  3. How to determine your values and find your purpose! This had the most votes on my feedback post.
  4. Follow through with your goals:
How to set goals according to your values, how to break them down, what's important & actualizing them.
  5. Overcoming the state of lack:
How to move into the state of abundance and meaning so you can get back to creating the life you love & how to balance out lop-sided emotions to get there.
  6. How to charge what your worth for the doing the work you love:
Overcoming behaviours that sell you short and learning the universal laws of fair exchange/consecration & conservation
  7. Procrastination:
What does authenticity, vulnerability and fear have to do with it?
  8. Getting comfortable with fear and uncertainty:
How to make them your best friends and leverage them to your advantage.
  9. Stress management:
discover these few effective ways to bring you back into equilibrium.
  10. Confidence & the meaning of courage:
What is the key thing to know about these things and how you can raise yours.
  11. How to make movement part of your lifestyle:
The importance of movement and how to bring it up the ladder on your value system.
I love these topics, because they are all topics I can share on what I know with you, or know some wellness professionals in my circle who do. I coach on these topics and these are really beneficial, as we go deep.

I'll be turning these topics into some form of on-line classes that you'll be able to register for. Be sure to subscribe to this blog website to receive your updates and announcements for these topics.

I'll be updating this list of topics as I get more feedback from my post. If you have an area you'd love to have help in please share in the comments below.

If you decide that you can't wait for me to design these above classes and want to get going right away; check out my Beta Coaching Package here. These prices are supper affordable and I'll be bumping up the prices in the new year some time.

Give Me Your Feedback ~I Want To Serve Your Needs

"Don't Look at What You Can't Have"

Quick Test:

What's the first thought that springs to mind when you read the following words: "Don't Look at What You Can't Have"?

These where the words I read on the back of a taxi in front of me this chilly spring morning, while stopping my scooter at a traffic light. I was leaving Claremont to go teach some yoga to a private client.

This is what a S.A. taxi typically looks like... perfect example of the  sticker I saw this am, except the words  were; "Don't Look at What You Can't Have."

My first thought was, "Right... look at what you do have, just the reminder I needed this am." I stared at for a while longer and then it occurred to me that it was actually meant to be a cheeky "diss" (a way of telling one off), as we would say here in South Africa. Made me laugh when I realised that.

My next thought was, how grateful I was to see the good and derive an empowering meaning from it rather than automatically seeing the defensive and antagonistic "diss". How easy it is to feel trapped in a frame of mind that only sees the challenge and negativity in every situation?

My thoughts then started exploring the idea of how easy it is to be self absorbed in ones own "suffering" and self-perpetuated anxieties... To run on an annoying abundance of LACK.
This state makes us impatient, defensive, self-absorbed, aggressive, compulsive, impulsive... because it is the state of survival. In this state, we disconnect, not only with ourselves, but with those who are closest to us. In this state we become mean and incapable of "hearing" or empathising with anyone else. Sometimes this state can be turned into closed-minded absolution. Even persona's of self righteousness, prejudice, pride and fear... these are unbalanced and stressful states to be living in constantly. It doesn't do much for your emotional intelligent quotient, mental state and even drives a deteriorating physiological state.
Been there... Sooo over it, 'cause that ain't living.
I've been in this "mad" state, it's inevitable when driven on autopilot without awareness or intention... and I don't like it so much; it's incongruent with the person I would love to be and that creates a huge stress in of itself.

Shift Perspective:

There are numerous models of consciousness in philosophy, psychology, etc. that speak of the levels of evolution in perception or the state of "being". In Yoga the very base of the primitive conscious level is called the Root chakra.
Maslow's hierarchy of needs, describes the theory of the different stages of human behaviour motivators.

The one I like the best is that of Dr. Demartini: (Human Behavioural Specialist etc.)

Seven Levels of Consciousness ~ Book: "The Breakthrough Experience" Dr Jon F. Demartini, pg. 142

I recommend this book and even better, attend the live Break Through Experience seminar that Dr. John Demartini gives. Check out the table above, assess for yourself where you feel you're functioning from mainly. For the majority of us, we live anywhere between the last three or four on the list.

In his book, Dr. Demartini relates on balanced perceptions, and the more lop-sided (unbalanced) they are, the more we de-evolve into the lower states of being. The more we choose to balance out our perceptions, the more we evolve into using our "genius" and are naturally driven to actualise our our full potential.

"Until you get past the want-to level, there is little free will or choice. But with each successive level, there is and increase of inner self-motivation and a decrease in outer compulsion. At the desire-to level, you start acknowledging a dream; and at the choose-to level, you begin realising that you can make it happen. At the Love-to level, you know it's your destiny  and nothing will stop you. Here, you break through to a new and more inspired level of being...Great geniuses are willing to pay the price..." ~ The Break Through Experience ~ Dr J. Demartini

In my words; gratitude starts with attitude. I say gratitude because it is the best emotional state where everything in ones life is seen with purpose, the good and the bad, equally. When you see the balance, there is only gratitude (love).

Funny thing is it's hard to feel grateful for your life, or to feel motivated to make the changes we want from that place of lack, and what we end up doing is chasing happiness. From this state, happiness is always going to be just out of reach.
Its natural to go through the lows of life, yet even in the low moments, one can ask a series of powerful questions to shift perspective and rebalance the mind and heart.

I pulled away from the traffic light, I made a conscious effort to acknowledge the things I felt so grateful for. As some of these thoughts spun in my head and the feeling of gratitude filled my chest, I realised that my inspired-tear-filled eyes had misted up the visor of my helmet. Right then, in that present moment, I was grateful for the refreshing morning air; I welcomed it. I was grateful for my scooter, on which I felt free; fearlessly vulnerable to the fragility of life. I felt deep appreciation for the gift of choice. That is just another reminder that creating the life I love happens today... Not when I have X,Y and Z.

What helps you to foster the feeling of gratitude?
How can you love the place you are in right now?

How can you see your challenges in an empowering way?
What are the benefits of your challenges?
Where are they "calling" you to look and expand growth-wise in your life?
What's it going to take to realise that this is your only chance to actualise your life and dreams?
What is possible for your life?

The really cool thing about life, is that no matter where we've been, how young, how old we are, every new moment forward is another chance to start. There is no such thing as running out of chances, no failures, just feedback.
"From now on, I apply an empowering meaning to my life!" ~ Mastin Kipp

Clarity Creates Certainty

Clarity creates certainty, once you are clear on what you value, what your drivers are, you can update the old ones that run the show. Change only happens with real conviction and it is what you believe that will drive your actions (or lack of action).

Change for the sake of change is difficult to sustain! The proof is in those many perceived failures from past attempts.

Know your "why"! Clarity creates certainty, the strongest certainty always wins!

I struggle a lot with making decisions (especially the important ones). And the more I dig into clearing my lack of clarity, that has recently come to light, I wonder how many of you might benefit from or resonate with my latest insights?

Insights:

  1. Know what you want. Every one is running on some sort of blue print, conscious or not... which side is what you want sitting on; conscious or unconscious?
  2.  If actions are run by your unconscious beliefs and you aren't too sure of what your values are... Well, you guessed it, you'll be wading through misery when the life you want doesn't match up to your actions.
  3. Making changes that someone else prescribes AIN'T going to work either (not unless it's deeply aligned with your values & vision). Another reason that might not work 100%, is because even though the person prescribing advice is experienced... you're unique and you are the only one who will listen to you in the end. You ultimately, are the expert in your life.
  4. Lack of clarity on ones values (your own not those which are prescribed to you by your minister or mother) = low conviction for change.
  5. Therefore; a lot of the frustration we modern folk face; might be due to the fact that we make too much compromise on our authenticity & autonomy (who we are) and what we want.
  6. We chase interests without really knowing our true values because of the above and are swayed from here to there like drifters, never surmounting to much more than the mundane state of auto-pilot & ultimately perpetuating more of what we don't want.
  7. Change is directly proportionate to the degree in which you value the change you're looking for. Or shall I rather say it like this: you will not change something about yourself until it is valuable enough to do so - to the point it outweighs the cost for staying the same. I.O.W.: How can you ELEVATE the change you're looking for to a higher statues of value?
  8.  Figuring out this s#%t is scary, because it means that you are actually in the drivers seat and you have to be brutally honest if you want to create the life you would love to live more deliberately

You say you want to change... but what is the perceived cost?
How willing are you to pay the price?
What's the price you are paying for staying right where you are?
Red pill or Blue pill?

And for a fun and dramatic effect... a clip from The Matrix just in case you're wondering which pill is which.

Think of the "the Matrix" he's talking about as your beliefs and perceptions as a lens through which you "see"; creating the world you experience.

Summary:

Know what you want! This is the big "why". Find a way to align you actions to your values in creating what you want! This is perhaps the best kind of motivation and it is something you are intrinsically inspired by.
Can you see your purpose, your dream/vision, the life you would love to have?
Key: how certain are you that it's going to happen?
Can you visualise, taste, smell, hear, touch it, feel it?
What's the first thing you can think of to do to get clear?

It is my purpose, my mission to help others reconnect the disconnection that can run on autopilot and through coaching those who are ready; empowering themselves to become more conscious creators of the lives they'd love.

Create your life deliberately.
Are you mad about your life... Or are you Mad-Crazy-In-Love About your life? It's a choice,
